Notice: These tips are applicable for Malay girls’ blogs only. My international friends may think it’s weird but our cultures are different so they may not think that these tips are cool.

How to Write a Girl’s Blog.

1.Talk About Fun Things

Leave it to men to write intellectual blogs, your blogs are about your sweet memories, hobbies, dream and fantasy. Say that you don’t care about the politics and economy because they’re boring so you don’t wish to think about them even for a minute. Talk about your favorite movies, shoes, food, actors and etc. If you want to do something fun in the future, say that you can’t wait for the fun moment. Don’t forget to also tell people about your dream and fantasy.


2.Show Your Shopping List

I have never met any girl who doesn’t admit that she’s a shopaholic. Thank God, they help to keep the economy moving but unfortunately their spouse’s wallets are getting thin. Make a list that shows the stuffs that you want to buy or you dream that you could have them. It’s better to show pictures of the exact things that want to add to your HUGE collection. I’ve seen body parts being added in the list as well. Oh, those girls probably want to have a plastic surgery someday.


3.Talk About Your Stress

I would make an official statistic if I have time but for now, I believe that 98% of the word ‘stress’ in all blogs in the world is in girls’ blogs. Rant about your school, work, co-workers, assignments and everything so you can to tell people how stressed you are.


4.Talk About Your Crush

Guys have crush too but they don’t write about it in their blog. Girls have to describe how in love they are since they first met the ‘handsome guy’. Explain the details like the guy’s hair, chest, eyes, arms, smile and etc. Don't do that if you're not single. Instead, talk about your boyfriend and say that he’s really sweet.


5.Add Background Image and Music

Don’t use plain background color. Instead, use fancy background image with suitable color that makes your blog looks ‘cute’. Be sure the background image is fancy enough to make it’s hard to read your posting. If you know how to do it, add background music as well. It may be annoying as hell but who cares, it’s your blog!


6.Simplify Your Words

This is more obvious in girl’s IM, Facebook wall post and SMS rather than in blogs but there are some girls who also simplify words in blogs as if they’re too lazy to move their fingers. This is an example: “ble ah nk abes prjk nie, dh tensen dah ni.. tringin nk gi shah alam jpe membe, windoo kat diowg..kes kes kes.. nti ujonk bln ak ngan bbdk ofis gi trip kat sabah, abes duwet gji ak, hahaha..rse mls nk gi tp dh diowg ajk so ak on je la ;-)”


7.Decorate Your Blog with Capital Letter and Symbol

This is not interesting. ThiS iS iNteRestiNg ;-). Don’t mAkE yOUr bl0g lO0k plAiN and dull, usE cApiTaL letteRs and sYmb0Ls to dEcorate iT. Don’t uSe 1337. 1337 aRe fOr n00bs, nOt giRLs.


8.Show Pictures of You and Your Friends

What kind of girl’s blog that doesn’t have pictures in it? Shows you and your friends’ pictures and say that you really miss them. It could be old pictures or photos from your recent holiday trip. Be sure the pictures are cute and you don’t look fat in the pictures. Be sure all your female friends look nice in the pictures too or they will be ranting about it in the comment section.


9.Show That You Know About Brands

Don’t take it wrong, it not about the brands of cars, basketball shoes, laptops, game consoles, cell phones and operating systems. It's about the brands for fashion. Share your knowledge about the nice brands for shoes, perfumes, skirts, make ups, dresses, handbags and anything that you’re dying to have them. Remember, it has to be the latest brands, not the old ones.


10.Talk About Entertainment

This might be confusing because anything can be entertainment. For me, seeing Dr Khir Toyo loses in election in an entertainment. What I mean about the entertainment in girl’s blog is MTV, Hollywood, filem Melayu, America’s Next Top Model and the new album of a handsome rock singer. If you have a lot of knowledge about them, then why talk about the economy? Talk about the entertainment!


11.Poems and Lyrics

If you wrote a poem, then share it in you blog. If there's a song that touches your heart, the share the lyric in your blog!


12.Overall
Here’s a good rule of thumb. The more people’s IQ drop when they read the blog, the better the blog is.

2. i dont know what was the writer's intention. maybe saje2 nak kongsi pendapat or maybe berniat untuk mengutuk kaum perempuan?

3. i did most of the things mentioned. so what? macam lah lelaki yg tulis blog tak buat. and macamlah perempuan mat saleh tak buat.

4. aku rase writer ni memang saje nak kutuk perempuan melayu.
