differentiation

some people say things that they do not mean to say. some people telling lies. some people telling jokes but deep inside they really mean it or they are serious about it. but she, a normal human being who does not possess a super power cannot always differentiate, cannot always tell, which one is a lie, which one is the truth, whether they are joking or they mean it. sometimes she got confused with them, sometimes she took the matter seriously, when they are suppose to be not.

she can ask them for clearity. she wants to tell them her feeling so that she won't regret it one day. maybe they feel the same too, she thought. but that doesn't seem as an easy task to her especially on that very issue. a sensitive one she supposed. being a "she" maybe. instead of "he". perhaps if she ever asked, she will lose them, lose the precious bond that exists between her and them.

she wants to tell her feeling. she wants to hear nothing but the truth.

she have to ask.

but she doesn't have the courage.

is this their fault? or it's hers? not be able to differentiate emotions/expressions/ facts/ jokes but did pretty well in mathematical differentiation.
