i just watch a video posted by my friend on his blog. it says..

"Muslim discovered a numeral system which was used by people in India. after making some modification into this system, Muslim adopted it and later introduced it to the world. the number of angle in each numeral determines its value"

i can't find those numbers on the net. so i draw them using paint. hehe.. not that chantek. but as you can see, the number of angles (in red color) in each numeral matches its value.

hebat tak mereka dan matematik?

once upon a time, Muslim mathematicians were very renowned. they dominated the field of mathematics during middle ages.

remember those names you've learned in schools? al-khwarizmi, ibnu sina, al-biruni, omar khayyam, ...

yet.. names that stuck in my brain are Cauchy, Laplace, Gauss, Euler, Lagrange, D'Alembert ...

being a Muslim, i should have the spirit to be a great mathematician as they once did. to note, they are still very great a mathematician till this very moment!

where are the spirit? the spirit to be a great, renowned muslim mathematician, to bring again muslim's domination in the field of mathematics.

nak buat honors pon tak mahu.
